Net Retriever is the software we have developed to fill the void created by the hospitality industry’s rapid adoption of High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) for their guest rooms and public areas.  We saw a need for HSIA hardware communications software and looked around the market only to find many proprietary systems with their own limited software/web interface – but no universal interface.

Each hardware device had to output their data in several formats (and they were constantly having to upgrade systems to accommodate yet another FOS) and every FOS had to write an interface for the hundreds of HSIA hardware devices out there!  So we created Net Retriever – a single piece of "middleware" that communicates with many of the popular HSIA hardware and Front Office System (FOS) software to provide a seamless integration of the two.

Now all the HSIA hardware developers need to do is output our intuitive Net Retriever format that encompasses the best of every HSIA hardware and FOS interface and they will be instantly compatible with many popular FOS’s, including Fidelio, RMS, Hirum and many others that we already interface to.   Net Retriever even reads the other formats from the HSIA hardware (including RADIUS) in case they can’t output our format specification at this time. The list of HSIA hardware and FOS’s Net Retriever is compatible with is growing every day.
