SMS Archive is an application for storage and management of text messages on the memory card. It provides unlimited folder structure and phone-number-based rules for automatic SMS storage in the folders. On a 2MB memory card there is space for about 7,000 messages and on an 8MB card there is space for about 28,000 messages. Note: Application is currently preloaded in Turbo Adapter model only |

Secure SMS - (formerly "Crypted SMS") facilitates encrypting SMS communications for protection against eavesdropping and message spoofing (faking Mobile Sender ID) by the employment of the strong Twofish* symmetric cipher. Basically, this means that several messages of identical text will appear to be different every time. To simplify the usage of Secure SMS, secret keys can be assigned to individual phone numbers. It is possible to have dozens of keys for communication in large enterprises – including secret keys that can be hidden against a user (users then do not know the keys and cannot view them). This application allows the user to define a "dummy" message to appear in the SMS inbox when a message is received. For example, when a message comes in the user could have the masked message: "Don't forget the milk" appear in the SMS inbox. Thus fooling anyone that is not aware of the Masked SMS application and also, if the prying individual did find the application in the phone's menu system, they would not be able to read the deciphered messages without the correct password. An application for the secure storage of private/sensitive information in a kind of “mobile wallet” e.g. passwords, bank account details, credit card numbers, etc. Who needs a PDA with this kind of functionality now available to even the most basic model phones? This is a very handy way of keeping that critical data conveniently in your phone, yet safe from possible discovery. The secrets are encrypted by 128 bit Twofish* cipher so even if the phone is stolen, the data cannot be retrieved through hacking. Locinfo, provides the Cell-ID* of users with a Turbo equipped phone, e.g. children, cars, partners, etc.
and is useful for remote monitoring of a phone's location.
Locinfo is client-server application – a client (e.g. employer), sends a SMS to the server, (e.g. employee), requesting their location information. The server phone would automatically respond with an SMS containing the Cell-ID of the server and this is compared with the list of cells stored on the client’s memory card. If the client’s lookup table finds a matching area to the server’s Cell-ID, then a readable location instead is displayed. Another example situation that this device could potentially save lives (and reduce stress) would be a parent being able to keep track of their children (especially young teenagers). They could purchase one Turbo Adapter (with memory card for Cell-ID lookup table) and one (or more) Turbo SIM, Lite or Adapter for their children’s phones and be able to locate them at anytime of the day or night by simply sending an SMS. The cell-id list (stored on a memory card in a Turbo Adapter) only has to be in the “client’s” Turbo equipped phone, the located Turbo can be without memory card to minimise the cost. It is also possible to locate yourself without sending an SMS. The user just polls the Cell-ID lookup table and it will give you your readable location. Most modern phones now come with this feature as standard, but it is still a possibility with this application. Users can also control access to the location information by creating a list of authorised phone numbers that are allowed access or permit/prohibit everybody. The Reader application can be used for reading textual documents stored on a memory card (therefore, it is only suited to the Turbo Adapter with a memory card). The MC (Memory Card Manager) application can be used for memory card browsing, capacity checking, card renaming and file viewing. Another feature of MC is the ability to encrypt files stored on the memory cards with 128 bit Twofish* cipher in CBC mode. The Fake SIM application allows users to emulate multiple SIM cards in one mobile phone and to easily switch between them without switching off the phone. Unlike dual SIM adapter’s that only allow for two separate SIM cards, Fake SIM can access all the data saved from multiple SIM cards - i.e. can have a combined phone book, SMS inbox/archive, etc. The number of SIM cards stored is limited only by the available memory; there can be dozens of them. Also, the Fake SIM applications allows user to use the operator provided SIM Toolkit applications stored on saved SIM cards, i.e. GSM banking remains available.
